Undergraduate course in Chemistry was introduced in the year of 1963 and in the year 1985 undergraduate Honours Course in Chemistry was also introduced under the affiliation of Culcutta University of West Bengal. In the year of 1988 the College got affiliated to Tripura University.
From then, many students have passed from this College; many of them are well established and even renowned Educationists and are increasing the pride of this institution.

But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?"
